What’s In My Makeup Bag

By  |

My makeup bag is full of goodies, and I am here to share them with you. In the past I have been known for soft glam, but lately I have been loving a bold eye. I have found a few palettes by Juvias Place that is perfect for the cut crease look. This look was created using Juvia’s Place Afrique By Juvia’s. Juvias’s Place is an Black-owned brand.

If you would have asked me three months ago about the cut crease, I would have said that I don’t know how. Since we have been locked down in this quarantine life, I have learned how to cut crease and so much more.

I do love Juvia’s Place Afrique By Juvia’s it was released back in 2018. The colors are complementary colors. It is highly pigmented, this eyeshadow has 12 bold shades. It’s infused with blues, reds, yellows, and greens and some neutrals. I created such a bold pigmented look with this palette.

For primer, I have been wearing Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer, I wrote a blog about it, you can find it here. For foundation, I have been loving Milk Makeup Flex Foundation Stick my shade is Carmel. It glides on smooth, and sets nicely with Milk Makeup Blur and Set setting powder.

Whenever I find a product that I just love, and have a hard time putting it down I like to share it here so you can try it too. For concealers, I have been rockin’ all of Juvia’s Place concealers. They are thick and smooth, they are perfect for the cut crease too. They dry and set smooth and blend out well. If you haven’t tried Cream Cheeks Out by Fenty, you have been missing out. This bronzer is everything and kisses my skin perfectly leaving me with a sunkissed glow.

For highlighter, I am using Juvia’s Place The Nubian by Juvias it’s a Loose Highlighter. It sparkles like I never seen. It is gorgeous see it here on my skin.

This highlighter is gorgeous.

Benefit Cosmetics has the best brow products. These right here are not the brow products, but rather new mascaras. They have mascaras for every look and I am loving them. Today, they were added to my makeup bag. Here they are listed, and what they are used for.

  • Roller lash– Grabs, separates, lifts, curls. Curve-setting formula holds for 12 hours.
  • They’re Real-Tint, define, prime lashes. Water-resistant. I wear this one on my real lashes.
  • Bad Gal Bang– volumous, big black lashes.

For lipgloss, I have been wearing Fenty Beauty Lip Glosses and they pair well with everything. Have you tried any of these goodies? If you have, let me know I would love to hear from you. I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!
