Great Drug Store Makeup Finds- Featuring LA Girl
Hey beauties, hoping your day is sunnier than mine today. It’s a rainy day here in Atlanta. I headed out to my local CVS because I wanted to try out some new hair care products. As you may know natural hair is more of a trial an error type of thing. While there I noticed LA Girl Cosmetics display.
I have used their concealers for a year or so now, so I am a little familiar with this brand. The concealers are impressive because they are smooth applications that blend out so well- they in my opinion can be on equal playing fields as Tarte Tape Shape. Yes I did lol- well, it’s true.
I picked up a few shades of concealer, and decided to try out the line of makeup. Here are a few items that I chose.
Products
- LA Girl Pro Prep Primer- Make your makeup last all day with PRO Prep smoothing face primer.
Pro Prep Primer creates a smooth appearance by filling in fine line and pores while providing the perfect surface for foundation. Formulated with light diffusing particles and skin nourishing Vitamin E - LA Girl Pro Coverage Foundation-high-definition long wear illuminating liquid foundation creates a flawless looking, full coverage finish. I loved this foundation because of it’s lightweight formula. Paraben free- and it really improved my skins appearance.
- LA Girl Pro Conceal- is crease-resistant with opaque coverage in a creamy, yet lightweight texture. This long wearing formula is what started my love for this brand. It provides a complete, natural-
looking coverage, evens skin tone, covers dark circles and minimizes fine lines. I have used this as a foundation it works just as well. - LA Girl Pro Powder- A luxe finishing powder that sets the foundation and mattifies skin, if you have oily skin like me this is a must. This product keeps oil at bay.
- LA Girl Matte Lipstick
So, if you are ever out at your local CVS or Walgreens check this brand out if you need a makeup look for a reasonable price. It is pretty safe to use, I am happy to report that I did not have any immediate breakouts after using.
Let me know if you decide to try, or if you have tried it out before. I love to hear from you. See you all on the next blog post.
