I had the opportunity to try the Color Theory Creme Correctors in the shades Linen, and Flax. You may wonder why use a corrector? Color Theory Creme Correctors were designed using complementary color theory, [hues opposite to one another on the color wheel neutralize when mixed] in order to counter under eye circles, blemishes and other skin quirks. I also tried out the Completely Covered Creme Concealer. Completely Covered Creme Concealer introduces pure pigments to organic oils because the skin deserves to be both flawless and nourished.
In this post, I will share a simple tutorial of how to use the Color Corrector and Concealer to achieve a flawless face. This will be a simple step by step tutorial made simple just for you- so if you are a beginner it’s beginner friendly!
Because I have imperfections, I always use a great concealer to brighten up under my eye.
After applying Flax under the eye to brighten, I found it better to use my fingers to blend out the look.
Next I went in with Linen Creme Corrector to conceal those blemishes that I have on the sides of my face. I added a few dots on the sides of my face and blended out with my fingers.
Now it’s time to contour my face, and here I am using the Almond shade from Completely Covered Creme Concealer to begin the process.
I begin by adding a few streaks of color to forehead, cheeks, and jaw to brighten up. Next, I am using the color Tawny as my darker shade to contour the look.
So remember, always use a few shaded darker and lighter than your normal foundation to really get that contoured face.
I wanted you guys to see the shade before applying so, just a quick glimpse of what I used.
On my jaw line and around the face I like to add the darker shade to really contour the face. I even do my nose to to really get that snatched look lol.
After contouring and concealing, I begin to blend it out. Add your favorite oil to help blend out evenly. Blend away with your favorite beauty blender.
I found the it really blends out well. I always blend the lighter color first and then blend the darker color. I like to use a blender for this makeup, to me it works better than a brush.
After blending this is the final look and now I am adding the lips. Here I am using Au Naturale High Lustre Lip Gloss in the shade Magnolia.
Let me know how you like this look by leaving your comments below, and let me know if you will give Au Naturale a try. I look forward to seeing you all on the next blog post until next time friends.
