Soft Pretty Curls With Taliah Waajid Natural Hair Care Products

Hi Dolls, I had a case of the Mondays.  How many of you guys was feeling the same way today?  So what happened, a box came in a mail that really got me going.  Taliah Waajid sent me a box filled with the new line of products to try!  She sent- or the brand sent rather lol the new Green Apple Aloe with Coconut line.

My hair was feeling so, so dry.  You know I been on this Aloe Vera kick- but the truth is every now and then you need to really revitalize the hair to give it some life!  I was growing tired of my dry, dull hair- could it be a change in season?  Sometimes that really does effect how the hair behaves and how the hair is feels.  So the brand reached out to me to invite me to Taliah Waajid Hair Conference here in Atlanta next weekend starting April 21-22 at the Georgia International Convention Center.

You know I was so excited- but the truth is I never used any of the products so that is why they sent me the box.  So let me tell you all about this new line that can be found in Sally’s and in some Walmart stores.  Each bottle will cost you around 9.99- which is pretty economical considering the prices of some products that are for natural hair.

I was pretty excited to try it out.  Can you believe that the product works just as well as some of the high end professional products that I have used?  I must admit that I was a little shook.  Let me share what I did to create my simple look today.  It did not take long either.  This was a simple wash and go day for me.

So here is a mini tutorial on how I achieved this simple look- please note I am impatient and my hair was still a little wet during the picture.

Did I love the shampoo- yes I did!  It has amazing silken proteins that softens the hair and actually makes it so easy to detangle.  I have to report that I did not shed any hair during the process which is what we need for hair growth right!

Then I went in with the Leave in Conditioner.  Now I must admit that I was taught some years ago in Cosmetology school never to just use a leave in conditioner on the hair.  But- to my surprise it was perfect.  It is a little thick which is what I need to really penetrate my hair- it is hard for conditioners to really get in without the dryer or the steamer.  This one worked just fine.  A little goes a long way- and it really has to be worked in the hair- or you probably will have flakes from using to much product.

You know I love a protective style right- anyway this is later this evening.  Forgot to take a picture of the Apple and Aloe Nutrition Curl Definer- which is everything honey!  I love her!  Immediately after using the leave in conditioner add this thick cream to you hair to really release that curl definition.

So yes it is thick- some people do not like thick from the reviews that I read.  It really works for me because my hair was so thirsty- but please note a little does go a long way.  Be advised lol- too much of anything good thing can be bad for you.
