A Beautiful Bold Makeup Look With My Favorites

I absolutely love a beautiful face- for me you wear almost anything and get away with it. From bummed out days to the most glamours red carpet looks, detail really is the key when it comes to your makeup look.  I get really excited when I get to play in new makeup and share it with you guys.  It is my goal to really help you move to the next level in your makeup game and really do the most- all of the time.

Practice I have found in this makeup game really helps leaps and bounds.  Just like most things in life- the more you do it the better you will improve promise.  Today, I am sharing a combination of my favorites to complete a daring but yet soft look.  It’s more of a date night or night time look, but of course if you are feeling bold it can be tried during the day as well.

In this blog post today, not only will I mention the makeup that I used to complete the look- but also added a tutorial.  I have had so much great feedback on tutorials- so as often as possible I will add many images to make things easier for you. After all, my goal is to help you improve from the beginner to advanced makeup geek no matter what level.

Let start with today’s look.

So this is the complete look, and I must admit that I did step out of the box a little by creating such a bold look.  Make sure to let me know if you love it lol by liking this post.  So, moving on to the step by step tutorial right.

I have to mention that I started this makeup look with doing my brows first.  I do not always do this but, for some reason today this is how I felt.  For this look, I used the Pixi Beauty Chloe Morello Palette and I cleaned it up with Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer.

Lately this concealer has been the perfect one for brows. For one this concealer by Nars is the perfect shade.  I love the texture because it’s creamy and it makes it simple to clean up and really define the brows.

I started with Au Natural Color Theory Creme Correctors Linen to conceal my dark spots.  Just started with a few dabs on the areas and rubbed in with my fingers.  I have found that this really help conceal before applying any foundations.

Color Theory Creme Correctors were designed using complementary color theory, [hues opposite to one another on the color wheel neutralize when mixed] in order to counter under eye circles, blemishes and other skin quirks.

For this look today I am using Au Naturale Completely Covered Creme Concealer in shades Almond and Tawny to contour the face.  They product excellent coverage!  Au Naturale Completely Covered Creme Concealer is made with pure pigments to organic oils because your skin with this I noticed that the skin is both flawless and nourished.

Next I set my face with a pressed powder, for this look I used Nars Desert just lightly dust it all over to take that final shine off.

Tips for Success

• Start where more coverage is needed (typically in the center of the face) and work out toward the edge of the face.

For this eyeshadow look- please excuse my damaged in shipment palette- I used Too Faced Clover palette.    The shades that I used for this look:  Chihuahua, Fur Baby, Love Is Love, Daddies Me, TF Mascot.  On the lower lid I used TF Mascot, and Spoiled blended together.

To complete this look I added lashes, and I also used my favorite mascara from Too Faced Better Than Sex II.

To complete this look don’t forget your liner- for this look I used Pixi Beauty Weylie Black Liner Duo. I tried something different today, I sprayed Found Mattifying Makeup Setting Spray with Red Tea to set my complete makeup look.  Impressive, and I so loved the results of how my face set.

It locks makeup in place while controlling excess oil and shine.  Some hours later- my skin still looks the same!  This spray can be found in your local Walmart too.
