Whats In My Makeup Bag This Week

It has been a long time since I have written this popular post…not quite sure how I got away from it.  Lately, I have been hitting IG so hard with videos that I got away from writing this weekly post.  I went to Sephora yesterday, and I was like a kid in a candy store.

I was interested in testing out some foundations, and a few different palettes.  Huda beauty has my attention, Too Faced, and the famous 24-hour makeup by Becca Cosmetics.  I purchased Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, and the concealer.  I also picked up the 24-hour Foundation by Becca.  I have not tried out the Becca 24-hour foundation so I will have to save that one for another blog post.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation is everything!!!

It easily covered my acne scars with only a few drops, and it does not dry down easily.  This foundation is creamy, and it blends out so easily.  I am impressed.  So for real, there is a difference between this foundation and the others that I have been using. The coverage is amazing!

This oil-free foundation masterfully diffuses the line between makeup and skin for the perfect naturally flawless finish and coverage so undetectable.

I love the Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer, it’s creamy and blends out leaving no lines.  I did mess up and purchase one that didn’t really brighten up my face much.  I will probably pick up another one with more of a yellow pigment instead of a matching color.  *Sad Face* *Eye Roll* lol but it’s all good.

I love the Natural Nudes Collection.  The lipsticks left my lips feeling smooth and soft.   This collection is creamy, richly pigmented and the lips are hydrated with coconut butter.

This blog post may seem a little busy, while most of it is about makeup.  I also wanted to mention the product that I used for my hair.  I am excited because I was able to create a sleek ponytail with my natural hair using this product.  Have you heard of Mielle Organics?  In this look, I used Honey and Ginger Flexible Hold Edge Gel.  Let me know if you would like a video tutorial on this.
