Mielle Brazilian Curly Cocktail Curl Mousse with Babassu Oil Review
Hey Beauties, so excited to be back with another review. Curly hair can be a real challenge, but I have to admit that lately I have been loving my hair. I find that curly, or kinky hair is so much easier when left it’s the natural state.
Curly hair loves to be curly. So lately, I have been trying products that will work well with my texture which is 4b. I have been using Mielle Brazilian Curly Cocktail Curl Mousse for a little over a week now and I am loving it!
This lotion sets my curls and I love the texture that it leaves my hair in. I have only used this product on dry hair, but if it looks this good in a dry state I can image how well a wet set will look. I have tried this product on old fashion sponge rollers, and today I tried it on flexi rods.
Here is my hair in it’s natural state, I had just taken down my braids that I wear at night.
I sectioned the hair in four quadrants and started to roll from the back. I applied a little to the ends of the hair, and rolled the hair.
After rolling the hair, I went under the dryer to set the look. I went under the dryer for 45 minutes. This is the final look.
This is the result after rolling with foam rollers, and in this picture I also used Mielle Brazilian Curly Cocktail Curl Mousse.
Final Thoughts
Mielle Brazilian Curly Cocktail Curl Mousse worked nicely on my hair, and I am loving the final result. The mousse is very light, and I did feel it needed a little more moisture. To combat this, I did add oil to the ends of my hair after adding the curl mousse, then I rolled it.
If you have a similar texture, I do suggest using a oil to help set your curls. Other than that, it still gets a thumbs up from me! I will continue to use, and I am looking forward to setting my hair in a wet state to see the final outcome.
Have you mastered the roller set on your curls? How was the result, and what products did you use?
Thank you for stopping in, and I will see you on the next blog post.
