Dermalogica Skincare At Home While Social Distancing

By  |

Is it important to social distance yourselves and family during this time?  Living in Atlanta and watching this virus grow, I have been forced to post-pone my microneedling session at my local spa. This bothers me so much, because I felt like I finally found something that was working for me skin beside my normal at home skincare.

I plan to get back to my microneedling sessions when things get better, because I believe that they eventually will.  In the midst of this Coronavirus, try to keep your head up and focus on things that you can do to make yourselves feel better.

Off topic, try to eat the best foods for your body.  Drink lots of water, and distance yourselves from people.  Spend quality time with family, and only go out only when necessary.  Take this time for me time focus on skincare.

My skincare routine continues now at home, and the good thing is that I have found products that have helped my skin so much that I wanted to share them all with you.  Have you tried Dermalogica?

Here is a video of a few dermologica products that I am loving.

Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser It’s a deep-cleansing clay that purifies oily skin.  The clays combine extracts of Sambucus, Ivy and Lemon to remove excess oils.  Infused with cucumber and sage this clay cleanser calms and soothes the skin.  This is one of my favorite cleanser, it has made such a big difference in my skin.  My texture has improved, and my acne has cleared.  I am only left with acne scars that are also improving overtime.

Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner  this toner is everything.  It is lightweight, and is so refreshing.  It absorbs so well, and feels so good on my skin.  Apply toner immediately after cleansing.  This toner evens out skin porosity.

Dermalogica Biolumin-C serum A high-performance Vitamin C serum that works with skin’s own defenses to brighten and firm.  The secret improving hyperpigmentation is Vitamin C.  Apply Vitamin C serum after toner, before moisturizing.  Biolumin C serum Vitamin C dramatically improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Dermalogica Dynamic skin recovery SPF 50  I love this SPF, it smells so fresh.  Overtime, I realized why my skin had acne scars.  I never wore SPF growing up, so overtime my scars would be burned by the sun.  SPf is going to help combact both acne scars, and improve the appearace of skin aging (fine lines, and wrinkles). This moisturizer is medium weight, but infuses into the skin effortlessly.

Dermalogica Biolumin-C eye serum– this Vitamin C eye serum dramatically brightens, and improves complexion around the eyes.  I have noticed improvements in fine lines, wrinkles and under eye pigment.  I highly recommend for anyone struggline with dark under eye circles.

Dermalogica also has really good skincare mask that I love, if you love mask check these out. The sebum clearing masque and charcoal rescue masque are two of my favorite for oily skin breakouts.  The charcoal rescue masque detoxifies, and brightens and is good for both oily and normal skin.  The sebum clearing masque clears breakouts and minimizes premature signs of skin aging.

I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!
