My Morning Routine With My Extensions

Hey Babes, it’s summertime and I am always looking for protective styles.  I just went on a camping trip two weeks ago, and in the next few weeks, there are 3 more trips planned. I need something quick and easy for the road trips, and quick mornings.  The only thing that I want to think about during the trips is how am I wearing my makeup lol.  I know that often during the summer, we go for a braided look.

I am not really a braid person, I normally would rather make a wig.  I always braid my hair under my wig just to keep it protected as that is always my priority.  So today, I want to share with you my morning routine with my extensions as I plan to keep my life easy during my upcoming road trips.

Here is the wig that I created using Her Hair Company Inc.

This wig was so fun to create.  I ordered Eurasian Hair, 24 inches and it came really quick. Her Hair Company shares tracking information as soon as the product ships!  I bleached the hair and then toned it to create this look.  I colored the roots a little darker to give it a more natural look.  I love it!  The hair is smooth, straight, and so silky!

My routine is so simple now that I have this option.

If you have a wig stand, life becomes really easy.  I do not sleep in my wigs, I like to remove my wig every night to let my hair breathe.  In the mornings, I put my wig on the stand, and I straighten the hair with my favorite flat iron.

To set the hair, I do like to use a really good hairspray on the hair.  The best hairspray that I have ever used on wig hands down is Got2B Glued Blasting Hair Spray.  This hairspray is really perfect for any flyaways.  It keeps the wig tight all day long.  The hairspray is perfect for the half-up and half-down look as well.

After I complete the look on the wig stand, here is the complete look.

After I straighten, I like to install my wig.  It’s a simple process, I just put a little glue around the edges and install the wig.  It is not complicated at all.  Let me know if you would like a tutorial over this part in the comments below.

For my trips, I will only need a wig stand, flat iron, and great hairspray to keep this look.
