Nyx Professional Makeup- Total Control Drop Foundation Review

So I got my hands on Nyx Professional Makeup Total Control, and I am stoked about the results.  How many of you guys have tried this foundation?  It can be purchased in Macy’s, CVS, Walmart, and Target as well.

What I love about this foundation:

Let me start by saying this foundation does create a beautiful matte finish!  It really amazed me how fast this set.  It leaves you with a powdery matte finish even before setting the face. With just a few drops, this foundation delivers a sheer to full coverage matte finish.  All you have to do is adjust the number of drops you use until the desired level of coverage is achieved, the more drops the more coverage.

Coverage Chart:

2 drops for light coverage

3 drops for medium coverage

4 + drops Full Coverage

I think that this foundation is perfect for Oily skin.  It is really hard for me to find a great foundation that works for me.  Because it can be challenging, I will use this foundation for the remainder of the summer.

This foundation wears well in humidity and heat, which is definitely a plus for me.  I am not one that cares for light, natural makeup looks.  I am a full coverage girl all the way.

What I did not like so much:

It does dry fast, which can also be a negative if you do not work fast.  The first time I used this, it was disastrous!  My first impressions were not good, but the next day I tried it again and worked faster.  I am so glad, that I gave this foundation another try.  I thought that I was going to have to trash this one!  But, the weird thing about it is I love it now!

I even went back and got a few more shades to work with from CVS.  They are having a sale this week on Loreal, and Nyx Professional Cosmetics so it’s a great time to try out new things.

I plan on heading back to CVS tomorrow because I have CVS bucks to spend, you get those when you spend up to $30 or so on select makeup brands.
