3 Hair Care Products You Should Add To Your Curl Hair Routine

By  |

Finding the right hair care products for your hair can be such a challenge. Since COVID 19, we are visiting salons less which forces consumers to figure out their hair. It’s the perfect time to learn and understand your hair, so you can look your best every day. I have found three products that you should add to your routine.

  1. Jamaican Mango & Lime Tingle Shampoo- gently cleanses, and tingles so good on the scalp. Protects the scalp from dryness and flaking. Rich with vitamins, minerals, Manuka Honey, and Moringa the hair is left softened and moisturized. After use, your curls will feel detangled and elongated. I was wearing a wash n go when I used this shampoo, and it easily cleaned away all of the build-up in my hair and scalp. This system is a great prep for your protective style.
  2. Jamaican Mango & Lime Protein Conditioner Hair will feel strengthened after first use. This conditioner smells so good like mangos. It hydrates the hair well, you will be impressed with how easily it detangles the hair. Made without petrolatum, sulfates, or parabens it’s a great recipe for deep moisture. Stylist tip: don’t skip the dryer with this one. I always recommend 30 minutes under the dryer for good treatment.
  3. Jamaican Mango & Lime Locking Creme Wax- this wax can be used for starting locs or braiding twist. It has a good hold making it easy to control the hair. I always recommend using wax when braiding the hair with locs ultimately it keeps down breakage and encourages growth.

With the Jamaican Mango & Lime system, I created faux locs. This style is not for the faint of hearts. It is real work I will add this style took many hours to create.

Tutorial

  3. Braid hair using Jamaican Mango & Lime Locking Creme Wax.
  4. Slide faux hair through hair (crochet).
  5. Twist faux hair over natural braided hair.

Final Thoughts

The next time you are creating a protective style weather it’s twist, braids, or locs check out Jamaican Mango & Lime system. It’s a great prep for any protective style whether you are adding hair, or just wearing your natural. Your curls will love it. These products can be picked up from your local Sally Beauty Supply or order online

I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!
