Palmers Biotin and Length Retention System Review

Palmers just launched a new line with Biotin specifically for Length Retention and I am here for it.  Palmers is popular for their stretch mark lotion, and body care but did you know they also have hair care products? Yes, they do!

I have reviewed a few hair care products from Palmers in the past on my IG, and I believe I have reviews on here too. The products are designed for individuals with kinky, curly, coily hair.  I have to admit, this line so far is my favorite.  I have used the Coconut Oil line from Palmers, but that system did not have a styling gel.  Lately, I have been looking for products that require less time, and require less heat.

I believe because of all of the heat styling that I have doing lately with the blow-dryer my hair began to break.  I thought my hair could handle the heat styling because it is natural, but long story short it couldn’t. I cut my hair so that is why it is noticabley shorter.  Now, I am more focused on simple wash n gos that last for days and less heat styling.  This collection was right on time for me since I need products that can prevent my hair from breaking by adding moisture to my hair and strengthening my hair.  This system helps support health hair growth which is just what I need.

Cocoa Butter & Biotin Length Retention Shampoo

I love how moisturized my hair and scalp feels with this shampoo.  It offers great slip, addresses breakage, and split ends.  My hair was so hydrated that I could see my curls after shampooing.

Cocoa Butter & Biotin Length Retention Leave In Conditioner

I used about 5 pumps per section of hair.  If found spraying on to my hair and then applying directly to wet hair helps the products infuse better into the hair.  When I sprayed directly on, I had less control of the product.  My hair felt real good after using, and I was also able to detangle.  

After applying this leave in, I did go back and apply castor oil to my hair.  My hair is High porosity and always needs an oil to prevent breaking.

Cocoa Butter & Biotin Length Retention Styling Nectar

The best gel that I have found so far.  It is true.  My hair absorbed this gel so well, my curls are defined as you can see.  My hair is also very hydrated, and has great hold without having to shingle my hair.  

Since the Styling Nectar has Cocoa Butter the hair is also soften so no hard crunch hair!  I wore my hair like this for 4 day ( it could have lasted longer) but I had to change my hair.

I highly recommend this system for kinky curly hair.  This is the perfect style for a person with little time in the mornings.  It is perfect for school mornings, as well as work mornings.
