Simple Wash N Go Routine With Design Essentials Curl Enhancing Mousse

By  |

Have you ever tried Mousse for your wash n go?  This is the first time that I have ever used a mousse or which is similar to a foam wrap for my hair.  To my suprise it worked!  I came across this product on Pinterest, and I figured I would give it a shot.  I know you guys are always looking for products that enhance the curl and creates a simple wash n go.

If you wondering what a “wash n go” is, it is nothing more than a quick look using shampoo and conditioner with some type of styling aid.  The goal is to create a quick coiled, defined curl look without all of the extra drying time.  This look is not overly complicated and I feel anyone with time can do it.  Today, I am using the shingling method to create my look with Design Essentials Naturals Curl Enhancing Mousse.

My Review

Overall, my hair feels really good.  My hair is soft, and my curls are defined.  I do think it is important to add an oil to natural hair, I think it would feel dry if the oil is not added first.  This style did last, my hair was still defined this morning but the curls will need to be refreshed to maintain this look daily.  What I mean by “refreshed” is I would add more mousse to the hair to reactivate the curls and also moisturize with a oil like argan oil.  After applying the mousse in the morning after it is dry add your oil.  Define the edges to give your hair a polished look, and your look will be complete.

This mousse does not flake at all, and is not damaging.  I did not use heat on this style it is a true wash n go.  Who would I recommend this mousse for?  I recommend this mousse for anyone who has curly hair, just remember to add the correct type of oil depending on your hairs porosity.

I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!
