Camille Rose Naturals Cleansing Milk Review

By  |

This natural hair journey is no joke.  There are some days when I have asked myself is this really for me.  I did love wearing my relaxer, it was very easy to manage.  I just want to be real with you, wearing natural hair can be a challenge but is so much better when you find products that work well for you hair.  I have been able to stay natural because of some of the great products that I found, and March makes 5 years for me! The game has changed with natural hair, products are just no longer the same they are so much better.  When I first went natural, I tried out a few of Camille Rose products, and I had to say that I was impressed.  With Camille Rose products, I was able to master my first twistout on my own hair.  As a Licensed Cosmetologist, I found it pretty easy to do other people hair but when it came to doing my own it was such a challenge.

I had to truly learn my hair type, the porosity and what works for my hair.  Everyone hair is different.  Camille Rose products became my new go to for my flat twist, and bantu knot out.  Just recently, Camille Rose launched a new line #Straightoutofplants with three Cleansing Milks.  They are 100 percent vegan infused with cleansing milks to solve specific hair needs.  There are three different types depending on hair issues:  Elongation, Soften, and Definition.

Three Types of Cleansing Milks

Rose

Choose this cleanser if you want defined, frizz-less curls.  If you are trying to solve tangled poofy hair, that is difficult to tame try this milk cleanser.  The pure rose flower extract removes impurities while moisturizing each strand.  Made with Cupuaçu butter and flax seed milk which work to strengthen and moisturize the hair to make it more manageable. I have not tried the Rose cleansing milk, but I am looking forward to trying it out.

White Orchid

I chose White Orchid to soften my hair because lately, I have been experiencing knotting in my hair.  I am not sure why, so I chose this milk cleanser.  My hair easily detangled with no knots, and my hair was left full of volume and softened.  The detangling process was so easy!  This shampoo offers great slip, and it even conditions the hair.  My hair felt like no conditioner was needed after, but I still decided to use a leave-in conditioner because it would be odd to me if I did not.  I loved the results of my hair, and this hair in the image is 4 days old!  Yes, 4 days old and I have worked out 4 different times and the bantu knots are still holding up.  My hair actually looks nicer on day 4 than it did in the beginning which is odd for my hair.  So, I may be on to something that is great for my hair.

Neroli Blossom

Choose this cleanser if you want to elongate your curls, and you are tired of the shrinkage and the breakage.  I have not tried this one yet, but I am looking forward to trying.  If you do try the Rose or the Neroli Blossom, let me know your thoughts below.

The Cleansing Milks can be purchase at your local Target, Whole Foods, and CVS.  Let me know if you try them, I would love to hear from you!  Thank you for stopping in, I will see you next time on the blog.

I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!
