Carol’s Daughter Coco Creme Review

I promised to share products with you that does the most for my hair.  So, with excitement, I am sharing a brand that I have loved since the beginning of my natural journey some 7 years ago Carols Daughter.  I loved the story about this brand, they started from the kitchen like many other natural hair brands.  What is unique is that this brand is named after the founder’s mom Carol.

So today was wash day for me.  I have been wearing these braids for at least a week and a half and my scalp was ready.  My hair felt extremely dry, and so hard that I knew I had to do something. 

I shampooed my hair in the shower using Carols Daughter Curl Quenching Shampoo and Conditioned with Coco Creme Creamy Conditioner.  I finished my look with Coco Creme Coil Enhancing Moisture Butter.

Product Details:

Coco Creme Curl Quenching Shampoo:  no sulfates, paragons, or artificial colors. My hair had all kinds of buildup and this shampoo cleansed my hair well.  My hair was not left with any product and I loved that.  I shampooed my hair twice with this product.

Coco Creme Creamy Conditioner:  This conditioner is great for extremely dry hair.  It adds deep moisture and improves manageability.  When I first applied the conditioner, it felt really light.  I was a little concerned at first because I always have a bias of thick conditioners working better.  I left this conditioner on for 30 minutes with a plastic cap just to make sure.  To my surprise, my hair was so soft when I rinsed it out and it was ready to be styled.

Coco Creme Coil Enhancing Moisture Butter– surprise, surprise another hidden gem.  There are only a few butters that I am faithful to that I can count on at all times to create that perfect defined coil.  This will be added to the list!
